LSE
Urban Transport Infrastructure
2009
I
formed part of a team researching what makes big
urban transport projects succeed or fail, in their
project development, planning, procurement and
delivery. The report was commissioned by KPMG as a
‘think-piece’, and can be read here.
Treasurehouse and Powerhouse
2009
Working
with Tony Travers from LSE, I prepared a report
assessing the social and economic impact of the
Natural History Museum, addressing tourism,
international debate, internet and media presence, as
well as operational comparisons with domestic and
international peers. The report is
here.
Urban Age advisor
2009
Since
early 2008, I have been an advisor to the LSE's Urban
Age programme, an interdisciplinary international
conference on urban development. Specific commissions
have included preparing policy papers on
public private
partnerships,
and writing the Urban Age India
and
Urban Age South America summary reports.
Exhibition Road
2007
I
worked with Tony Travers of the London School of
Economics and Political Science to assess the
potential economic impact of this public realm
improvement project, and contributed survey data and
international case studies to a report for key
opinion-formers.
